Rich Milender, Technical Operations

Rich Milender has spent most of his career in construction, with additional experience in logging, lumber mills, and rock quarries; giving him a practical perspective on how work gets done in the field. Since joining Jackson, he’s worked on projects across the region before transitioning into construction technology, where he helps identify tools and processes that make projects safer, more efficient, and easier for teams to execute.

Rich enjoys finding practical solutions to everyday challenges and believes technology should support the people doing the work, not complicate it. Whether implementing new software, improving workflows, or helping project teams solve problems, his focus is always on making construction work better.

Outside of work, Rich enjoys spending time with his wife and their four grown children, tackling projects in his shop, and putting his woodworking skills to use building custom cornhole boards. He’s also firmly convinced pineapple does not belong on pizza.
