Jackson Contractor Group was founded by Doug Jackson in 2000 with a simple belief: great construction starts with great people. What began with a single desk in a small warehouse (and a yellow Labrador serving as the unofficial office greeter) has grown into a regional contractor with offices across Montana and a team of professionals who share a passion for building exceptional projects and lasting relationships.
While Jackson has grown significantly over the past 25 years, the company’s philosophy hasn’t changed. We believe the best projects are built through honest conversations, collaborative partnerships, and hiring talented people who want to build great projects, careers, and strong communities. That commitment has shaped our culture from the very beginning and continues to guide us today.
As our clients have grown, so have we. Jackson has expanded from its Missoula headquarters by opening division offices in Miles City, Bozeman, Helena, and Hamilton, allowing us to better serve clients throughout Montana, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Wyoming, North Dakota, and South Dakota. We may have traded one yellow lab for a whole pack of office dogs over the years, but we’ve never lost sight of what got us here: great people building great relationships.
Vision
Sustainable, profitable, forever growth. Build on our foundation to ensure Jackson positively impacts the lives of our people, projects, community, and families for generations to come.
Mission
Innovative and resourceful professionals providing positive construction experiences and creating proud clients, employees, and communities.
Verticals
There are a few verticals, or cornerstones, of how Jackson does business. Without these in place, we don’t have a business.
Safety
We will not compromise on safety. Everyone goes home to their family, every night. They are counting on us to be safe.
Jackson relies on each employee to work safely and hold one another accountable to our safety standards. Safety is not just one person’s responsibility. Everyone on the job site is responsible for the safety of themselves and their teammates.
Quality
Reputation. If we can’t build a quality project, we won’t build it.
Schedule
Goes hand-in-hand with quality; we will maintain our reputation for delivering on-time.
