Josh Troyer has built a career solving some of construction’s most complex challenges. With experience leading major healthcare, higher education, K-12, student housing, manufacturing, and resort projects across multiple states, he has developed a reputation for seeing solutions that others might miss. Whether working on an occupied hospital, a school campus, or a mountainside resort, Josh is at his best when tackling complicated projects that require careful planning, patience, and creative problem-solving. Since joining Jackson Contractor Group in 2018, he has become a trusted leader known for keeping projects, and people, moving in the right direction.
As a Senior Superintendent, Josh leads field operations with a thoughtful, collaborative approach. He believes the best decisions come from listening first, thinking through every angle, and bringing the right people into the conversation. Clients and coworkers value his ability to navigate difficult situations with practicality and calm, always keeping the project’s long-term success at the center of every decision. His passion for construction is evident in the way he mentors others and continually looks for better ways to build.
Outside of work, Josh enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, building projects around their property, operating the backhoe and skid steer, and caring for the animals on their small farm. He’s also a self-proclaimed puzzle enthusiast, and not just metaphorically. While most people reach for a scenic landscape, Josh is perfectly content spending hours solving a 1,000-piece puzzle that’s entirely white. If that sounds impossible, that’s probably why he enjoys it.
